Eligibility: This award is open to longstanding (at least 10 years) NSTA members
Purpose: This Is The Most Prestigious Award An NSTA Member May Receive.The Robert H. Carleton Award Recognizes An NSTA Member Who Has Made Outstanding Contributions To And Provided Leadership In Science Education At The National Level And To NSTA In Particular. The Award Will Not Be Given On The Basis Of The Number Of Petitions From Members, But On The Basis Of Well-recognized Contributions Clearly Beyond Those Considered Adequate For Distinguished Service Awards. The Award Will Be Presented Only When An Individual Is Identified.
