CompareCards’ Financially Literate Youth (FLY) Grants Program

Type: Foundations
Source: CompareCards
Program: CompareCards’ Financially Literate Youth (FLY) Grants Program
Eligibility: All public, private, and charter K-12 schools in the United
States may apply.
Purpose: CompareCards’ Financially Literate Youth (FLY) program
is funding up to $20,000 for the upcoming school year to go towards financial education. A recent report by the Department of the Treasury found that financial education in schools, even in small amounts, does increase financial knowledge
and capability, even one year after program implementation. By
providing this opportunity for schools to win one of four grants, we hope to see positive results from the implementation of a financial education program in our school
systems
Deadline: 09-26-2014
Award Max: $5,000.00
