Eligibility: Your organization one of the following:
A qualified 501(c)(3) organization with a valid IRS tax ID?
A K-12 Private or Public School?
A College or University?
A Public Library?

Your organization provide direct service and reside within a state in which Dollar General operates.

The program that you are seeking funding for contain all three of the following components serving adults and children from the same family?
Adult education instruction;
Adult basic education,
GED preparation,
and/or English for speakers of other languages
Children's education; and
Parent and child together time (PACT).

Your organization listed in the National Literacy Directory.
Purpose: Family Literacy Grants Provide Funding To Family Literacy Service Providers. The Foundation Uses The Federal Government's Definition Of Family Literacy When Reviewing Grant Applications. Organizations Applying For Funding Must Have The Following Three Components:

Adult Education Instruction
Children's Education
Parent And Child Together Time (PACT)
Deadline: 02-27-2014
Award Max: $15,000.00
Quantity: 50 - 60
Period: One year.
