Eligibility: For this grant round, the Captain Planet Foundation\r\nwill only award grants to schools and organizations based in the United States,\r\nwhich are exempt from federal taxation under\r\nInternal Revenue Code Section 501.  This includes\r\nmost schools, as well as nonprofit organizations exempt under section 501(c) 3.
Purpose: The purpose of engaging children in inquiry-based projects in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) that use innovation, biomimicry / nature-based design, or new uses for technology to address environmental problems in their communities.
