Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award

Program: Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award
Eligibility: District certified teachers currently engaged in integrating agricultural concepts into non-vocational agriculture classroom settings at the pre-k to12th grade levels are eligible. This may be an individual teacher or a team of teachers (with a designated team leader). Please note: Only one award and cash prize totaling $2,000 will be made per team.
Purpose: Each Year The USDA National Institute Of Food And Agriculture And The National Agriculture In The Classroom Consortium Recognizes Five Exceptional Teachers By Presenting Them With The Excellence In Teaching About Agriculture Award. This Competitive Program Recognizes A Select Group Of Teachers For Their Successful Efforts In Teaching Agricultural Concepts In Their Curriculum.
