Casio LampFree Education Grant Contest

Eligibility: The Casio Projector Grant Contest  is open to residents of the
fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are
full-time students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade and
attend a public or private school. Each essay submitted in
connection with the must be facilitated by an administrator or
faculty/academic staff member currently employed and in good
standing at an Eligible School and responsible for supervising
and/or advising such students. Participating students must have the
permission of their parents or legal guardians prior to
participating and applicable consent (to Sponsor's satisfaction)
must be received by Facilitator.
Purpose: To enter the grant contest, schools must first educate students on
mercury and how it can effect a young person's health. At the end
of the lesson students will be asked to write an essay on "How to
reduce the hazards of mercury on a young person's health". Each
school will select the best essay and submit it to the company's
website. Then schools will ask family and friends to vote on the
essay. The school with the most votes for their state will be
awarded a mercury-free projector
