Purpose: he Lincoln's Legacy Award is a $50,000 award presented each year
through 2015 to recognize and invest in nonprofit organizations
whose principles and programs advance Abraham Lincoln's legacy of
freedom and opportunity through education. Brigade Boys & Girls
Club of Wilmington, N.C. won our first-ever award last year.



To ensure that our young people are prepared for the opportunities
available to them, we are seeking nonprofits whose programs impact
increased high school graduation rates and college preparedness
through mentoring, tutoring, technology training, and college
readiness programs.
