To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
Be employed at a nonprofit institution, either in the United States or abroad. In most instances, these organizations will have 501(c)(3) tax exempt status, set up to receive and process grant awards. However, in rare cases, colleges or universities (such as Arizona State University) will not have 501(c)(3) tax exemption. If your institution fits into this category, we can instead accept an IRS determination letter which states that it is classified as a school under sections 509a1 and 170b1Aii of the IRS Code;

The Majority Of Our Funding Supports Research Relevant To Youth Ages 8 To 25 In The United States. We Have Two Current Research Interests. One Focuses On Understanding How Youth Settings Work, How They Affect Youth Development, And How They Can Be Improved. The Other Focuses On Understanding When, How, And Under What Conditions Research Evidence Is Used In Policy And Practice That Affect Youth And How Its Use Can Be Improved.

Here, The Foundation Supports High-quality Research That Enhances Our Understanding Of How Youth Settings Work, How They Affect Youth Development, And How They Can Be Improved.
