Eligibility:
Any nonprofit organization or school district in specific areas of Lorain & Cuyahoga counties, OH; Pima County, AZ; Alameda & San Francisco counties, CA; Bernalillo and Dona Ana counties, NM; King County, WA; and Hartford County, CT.

Purpose:
Comprehensive intervention strategies that will increase overall reading literacy achievement (students can read at or above grade-level by third grade)
Supplemental enrichment programs that support student learning and growth toward grade-level reading mastery
Book distribution programs that increase students access to print materials, encourage students reading outside of the classroom, and develops students life-long love of reading
Programs that support emerging literacy and reading skills among prekindergarten (children enter kindergarten ready to read)
Family engagement programs that help parents understand their role as a childs first and best teacher
Limited funding is available in support of services that help remove barriers toward reading success (as of 7/2013, The Stocker Foundation Board voted to accept LOIs/proposals from Food Banks toward childrens feeding programs)

All organizations seeking funding must first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). LOIs for summer 2019 or school year 2019-2020 will be accepted through June 29, 2018.

LOIs may be submitted by email or USPS mail. We ask that organizations do not submit using both formats.
